Survey Description

Helicopter-supported sample collection was carried out in the Bruce area, central Ontario during the summer of 1987.  Lake sediment and water samples were collected at an average density of one sample per 13 km2 throughout the 21,400 km2 survey area.  Sample site duplicate samples were routinely collected in each analytical block of twenty samples.  The data are published in Geological Survey of Canada Open File 1639.

This survey was carried out using National Geochemical Reconnaissance (NGR) protocols.
