Survey Description


In 1977, a few dozen lake sediment and water samples were collected in northern British Columbia.  The samples were analysed, but the data were never published.  Accurate locations for these samples are not available.

The samples were collected at the same time as a large NGR stream and lake sediment and water survey over NTS map sheet 104N.  These data were all published in Geological Survey of Canada Open File 517.

This survey was carried out using National Geochemical Reconnaissance (NGR) protocols.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

  • Covers a small part of NTS 104N in northern British Columbia.  The area is somewhat arbitrary, because the exact locations of the sites are not known.
