British Columbia NGR stream and lake sediment and water surveys, 1977
Project Description
Three NTS sheets in southeastern British Columbia (82F, 82K and part of 82M) and one NTS sheet in northwestern British Columbia (104N) were surveyed. The total survey area in southeastern British Columbia was 37 700 km2 and comprised 12 500 km2 in northwestern British Columbia. All of the samples collected were from streams except for a few lakes in map sheet 104N. The data were published in GSC Open Files 514 (82F), 515 (82K), 516 (part of 82M; also includes samples collected in 1976 and previously published in GSC Open File 411) and 517 (104N) in 1978. Sediment samples collected in map sheets 82F and 82K were reanalysed for tin and tungsten, and samples collected in map sheet 104N were reanalysed for tin. The additional data were published in revised editions of GSC Open Files 514, 515 and 517 in 1979.
