Survey Description

In 2003, a “Manicouagan” lake sediment geochemistry survey was carried out in th Baie-Comeau sector, Côte-Nord, Quebec.  This survey covered almost the entire Manicouagan regional county municipality.  Approximately 3000 sites were visited with an average density of 1 sample per 13 km2.

The samples were analysed by ICP-MS by Acme Analytical Laboratories Ltd.

A summary of the work can be found in Quebec Ministry of Natural Resources and Wildlife (Ministère du Ressources naturelles et de la Faune) promotional document PRO 2005-04.
