Côte-Nord Project, 2007-2009

Project Description

In 2007, lake bottom sediments samples were collected in the Sept-Rivières area, Quebec, and these were analysed with samples previously collected in Fermont and Havre St. Pierre.  The new data and the reanalysis data for Fermont and Havre-St. Pierre are published in Quebec Ministère des Ressources naturelles et la Faune report PRO 2008-7.

In addition, samples from other surveys and collected in other years were reanalysed and all of the data are published (as maps) in Quebec Ministère des Ressources naturelles et la Faune report MB 2009-13*.

The reanalysed samples came from the following areas:

Area Year of Collection Original Publication
Baie-James 1970s unknown; reanalysis data for a subset of these samples in PRO 2005-03.
Baie Johan Beetz 1983 MB 85-10
Havre-St. Pierre 1988 MB 89-19
Blanc-Sablon 1990 MB 90-33
