Survey Description
In 1995, a high-density lake sediment and water survey was carried out in the Peterlong Lake-Radisson Lake area, northern Ontario :
Sample Type | Number of Samples | OGS Open File Report |
Lake sediment | 976 | OFR5942 |
Lake water | 875 |
The data are published in Ontario Geologocial Survey (OGS) Miscellaneous Release Data, MRD027 (lake sediment) and MRD025 (lake water).
As part of Operation Treasure Hunt, the samples were reanalyzed for Au and PGEs. The data are published in Ontario Geological Survey OFR6053 and MRD070.
The data are also part of a compilation database, Lake Geochemistry of Ontario – 2019.
