Peterlong-Radisson Quaternary Project, 1995

Project Description

Regional till sampling, detailed Quaternary mapping and a high density lake sediment and water survey were carried out in 1995 in the Peterlong Lake-Radisson Lake map areas of northern Ontario.  The main objectives of this project are:

  • evaluate the geochemical responses to mineralization of various sampling media; and
  • focus mineral exploration activities in the Abitibi Subprovince.

The data are published in Ontario Geological Survey Open Files 5941 and 5942.
