Survey Description
In 1977, a few stream sediment and water samples were collected in southern British Columbia, as part of field crew training. The samples were analysed, but the data were never published. Accurate locations for these samples are not available. Samples were taken from the Sullivan Creek, China Creek, Laib Creek, Big Sheep Creek and West Little Sheep Creek drainage basins.
The samples were collected at the beginning of a large NGR stream sediment and water survey in NTS map sheet 82F. The data from this large survey were published in Geological Survey of Canada Open File 514.
This survey was carried out using National Geochemical Reconnaissance (NGR) protocols.
