Survey Description
Helicopter and 4-wheel truck-supported sample collection was carried out in southeast British Columbia in the summer of 1977. Stream sediment and water samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 13 km2. Sample site duplicate samples were routinely collected in each analytical block of twenty samples. The data are published in Geological Survey of Canada Open File 516 in 1978. This survey fills in the northeastern part of 82M not sampled in the 1976 survey (GSC Open File 411). The samples were reanalysed by INAA and republished in 1991 with the original data as Open File 2358/BC RGS 33.
This survey was carried out using National Geochemical Reconnaissance (NGR) protocols.
