Grenville Stream Sediment Project, Quebec, 1987-1989.
Project Description
Three reconnaissance geochemical surveys were carried out between 1987 and 1989. The main objective was to cover the southern part of the Grenville Province accessible by road. The total area covered by the three surveys is approximately 55,000 km2 from the Gatineau area in the west to the Mauricie-Portneuf area in the east.
Two samples were taken at each site, one for the analysis of heavy minerals and the other for the analysis of the fine fraction.
