Laboratory Description
Acme was founded by Dean Toye in Vancouver in 1971. In 2010, it was operating as an employee-owned business with 19 offices in 11 countries, headquartered in Vancouver. The company was acquired by Bureau Veritas in 2012.
As part of the acquisition and integration by Bureau Veritas, the legal entity for Acme Labs became Bureau Veritas Commodities Canada Ltd in 2014, part of the global trade name Bureau Veritas Minerals (BVM).
