Survey Description


Lake sediments were collected in northern Manitoba in 1975.  The data are published in GSC Open File 321.

After sampling for the regional survey was completed, an additional 101 sites were sampled in the NE corner of the mapsheet.  These samples were analysed, but the data were not published in OF 321.

In 2010, a subset of the samples was reanalysed by ICP-ES/MS and published in Geological Survey of Canada Open File 7309/Manitoba Geological Survey Open File 2013-2, along with the original data from OF 321.

This survey was carried out using National Geochemical Reconnaissance (NGR) protocols.
