Survey Description


Basal till samples were collected in northern New Brunswick in the Sisson Branch Reservoir map area in 2005.

Sample locations can be found on New Brunswick Department of Natural Resources Map Plate 2010-6.

The data are part of a compilation for NTS 21O (and parts of 21N and 22B) in New Brunswick Department of Natural Resources and Energy Development Open File OF 2021-2.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

  • Covers NTS 21O/6 (Sisson Branch Reservoir) in northwest New Brunswick.  Sisson Branch Reservoir is located in the south central part of the study area. It is bounded to the south and north by latitudes 47.25° N and 47.5 N° respectively.
