Survey Description
Between July 27th and August 8th, 2004, De Beers Canada Exploration Inc. collected 1351 sediment samples from the Quoich River Property of the Keewatin Region in southern Nunavut Territory. The aim of the exploration program was to provide regional sampling coverage on the property; therefore, esker and stream samples were collected preferentially, followed by beach and till samples. The centre of the property is located about 75 km northeast of Baker Lake and covers parts of NTS map sheets 56C, 56D, 56E, 56F, 56G, and 66H. The data can be found in Nunavut Assessment Report 084814.
