Survey Description
In 2012, stream sediment and water samples were collected in the Lorillard River area, central Nunavut. In total, 43 stream water samples and 42 bulk sediment samples (for heavy minerals) were collected at 41 sites.
The data are published in Geological Survey of Canada Open File 7428.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

Covers parts of NTS 56A (Daly Bay), 56B (Armit Lake) and 56G (Wager Bay) in central Nunavut. It is located approximately 70 km southwest of Wager Bay and 220 km northeast of the town of Rankin Inlet.
