Survey Description
During the summer of 1983, a stream sediment sampling survey was conducted by the firm Geomines Ltée, in the Mont-Joli area, Quebec. The area covers 3200 km2. A total of 6119 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 0.5 km2. Samples were analyzed for:

Covers NTS 22B/4 (Lac Dunphy), /5 (Lac Veillard), /12 (Sayabec) and 22C/1 (Lac Prime), /8 (Sainte-Blandine), /9 (Mont-Joli). The Mont-Joli area is situated in the Gaspé region. It is bounded by latitudes 48° and 48°40' and longitudes 67°30' and 68°33'.
