Survey Description
During the summers of 1982 and 1983, a stream sediment sampling survey was conducted in the Nouvelle area, Quebec. The area covers 90 km2. A total of 360 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 0.2 km2. Samples were analyzed for Cu, Pb, Zn, Ni, Co, Mn, Ag, As, Ba, Cd, Fe, Hg, Sb (atomic absorption) and loss on ignition.
The data are published in Open File MB 86-08, Department of Energy and Resources, 1986.

Covers NTS 22B/1 (Escuminac). The Nouvelle area is located in the Gaspésie region. It is bounded by latitudes 48°07' and 48°14' and longitudes 66°08' and 66°28'.
