Survey Description
During the summer of 1983, a stream sediment sampling survey was conducted in the Power and Joncas townships, Quebec. The area covers 11 km2. A total of 38 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 0.3 km2. Samples were analyzed for Cu, Pb, Zn, Ni, Co, Mn, Ag, As, Ba, Hg, Mo (atomic absorption) and loss on ignition.
The data are published in Open File MB 85-72, Department of Energy and Resources, 1986.

Covers NTS 22A/10 (Grande Rivière Nord). The Power and Joncas townships are located in the Gaspésie region. It is bounded by latitudes 48°34'45" and 48°36'30" and longitudes 64°45' and 64°52'.
