Survey Description
During the summer of 1980, a stream sediment sampling survey was conducted in the Lac Frotet area, Quebec. The area covers 112 km2. A total of 29 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 3.9 km2. Samples were analyzed for Cu, Pb, Zn, Ni, Co, Ag, Mn, Mo, Ba, Cd, Li (atomic absorption), U (paper chromatography) and loss on ignition.
The data are published in Open File MB 85-55, Department of Energy and Resources, 1985.

Covers part of NTS 32J/15 (Lac Troilus). The Lac Frotet area is situated in the Nord-du-Québec region. It includes Lac Châtillon. It is bounded by latitudes 50°45' and 50°50' and longitudes 74°35' and 74°50'.
