Survey Description
During the summer of 1979, a stream sediment sampling survey was conducted in the eastern part of Chibougamau pluton, Quebec. The area covers 15 km2. A total of 34 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 0.4 km2. Samples were analyzed for Cu, Pb, Zn, Ni, Co, Ag, Mn, Mo, Li (atomic absorption), U (paper chromatography) and loss on ignition.
The data are published in Open File MB 85-47, Department of Energy and Resources, 1985.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

Covers parts of NTS 32G/16 (Chibougamau) and 32H/13 (Mitshisso). The eastern part of Pluton de Chibougamau is located in the Nord-du-Québec region. It includes Lac Demers. It is bounded by latitudes 49°48' and 49°58' and longitudes 73°54' and 74°10'.
