Survey Description
In 1979, a stream sediment sampling survey was conducted in the Gorge Prosper area, Quebec. The area covers 1700 km2. A total of 49 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 58.2 km2. These samples were analysed for Cu, Pb, Zn, Ni, Co, Ag, Mn, Mo, Li, U and loss on ignition.
The data are published in Open File MM 82-02, Department of Energy and Resources, 1983.

Covers NTS 33B/1 (Lac Dumanoir), /2 (Gorge Prosper), /3 (Lac Village). The Gorge Prosper area is situated in the Nord-du-Québec region. It includes the Rivière Eastmain. It is bounded by latitudes 52° and 52°15' and longitudes 74°10' and 75°10'.
