Survey Description

During the summer of 1980, a stream sediment sampling survey was conducted in the La Motte and Lacorne areas, Quebec.  The area covers 3130 km2.  A total of 675 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 4.6 km2.  These samples were analysed for Cu, Pb, Zn, Ni, Co, Mn, Mo, Li (atomic absorption) and loss on ignition.

The data are published in Open File DP 83-15, Department of Energy and Resources, 1983.

This survey is part of a compilation of geochemical surveys published in DV 87-22.
