Survey Description
In 1979, a stream sediment sampling survey was conducted in the Rinfret and Lemoine townships, Quebec. The area covers 79 km2. A total of 257 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 0.3 km2. These samples were analysed for Cu, Pb, Zn, Ni, Co, Mn, Mo, Li, Ag, U and loss on ignition.
The data are published in Open File DPV-759, Department of Energy and Resources, 1981.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

Covers NTS 32G/9 (Lac Boisvert), /16 (Chibougamau) and 32H/12 (Lac Dobleau), /13 (Lac Mitshisso). The southwest quarter of Rinfret township and the southeast quarter of Lemoine township area is situated in the Nord-du-Québec region. It includes Lac Alida and Ruisseau au Sable. It is bounded by latitudes 49°44' and 49°48'40" and longitudes 73°55'20" and 74°04'.
