Survey Description
In 1980, a stream sediment sampling survey was conducted in the Dolomieu and Daubree townships area, Quebec. The area covers 192 km 2. A total of 71 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 2.7 km 2. These samples were analysed for Cu, Pb, Zn, Ni, Co, Mn, Mo, Li, Ag, Ba, Cd (atomic absorption) and U by paper chromatography.
The data are published in Open File DP-844, Department of Energy and Resources, 1981.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

Covers NTS 32G/11 (Lac Dickson), /14 (Lac des Orignaux). The eastern half of Dolomieu township and the southwest quarter of Daubree township area is situated in the Abitibi region. It includes Lac Dolomieu, Lac Landing and Ruisseau du Voyageur. It is bounded by latitudes 49°45' and 49°52'30" and longitudes 75° and 75°15'.
