Survey Description
During the summers of 1972 and 1973, a stream sediment sampling survey was conducted in the Trécesson township, Quebec. The area covers 256 km2. A total of 42 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 7.1 km2. These samples were analysed for Cu, Pb, Zn, Ni, Co, Mn (HNO3/atomic absorption).
The data are published in geological report RG-194, Department of Energy and Resources, 1979.
This survey is part of a compilation of geochemical surveys published in DV 87-22.

Covers NTS 32D/9 (Amos). The Trécesson township is situated in the Abitibi region. Its center is 16 km west-northwest of Amos. It is bounded by latitudes 48°34'30" and 48°43' and longitudes 78°12'30" and 78°25'30".
