Stream sediment sampling survey, NTS 32G/7-10, La Dauversière, Rohault and Fancamp townships, Abitibi area, Quebec, 1974-1977.

During the summers of 1974-1977, a stream sediment sampling survey was conducted in the La Dauversière, Rohault and Fancamp townships, Quebec. The area covers 400 km2. A total of 163 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 1.8 km2. Samples were screened to obtain the <177 microns fraction and theses fractions were analysed for:
|Cu, Pb, Zn, Mn, Ni, Co, Ag, Mn, Sn, Mo, Li, Hg, As, Ba||atomic absorption (AAS)|

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:
Covers NTS 32G/7 (Lac Surprise), /8 (Lac Rohault), /9 (Lac Boisvert), /10 (Lac à l'Eau Jaune). La Dauversière, Rohault and Fancamp townships are located in the Abitibi area. The region is situated 45 km south of Chibougamau. It is bounded by latitudes 49°25' and 49°38' and longitudes 74°21' and 74°39'.
