Survey Description
In 1976, a stream sediment sampling survey was conducted in the quarter north-east of Lévy township, Quebec. The area covers 70 km 2. A total of 62 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 1.1 km 2. Samples were screened to obtain the <177 microns fraction and theses fractions were analysed for:

Covers NTS 32G/15 (Chapais). The northeast quarter of the Lévy township is located in the Abitibi area. It is situated 25 km southwest of Chibougamau. It is bounded by latitudes 49°48' and 49°53' and longitudes 74°41' and 74°48'.
