Survey Description


In 1971, a stream sediment sampling survey was conducted in the Dufay township (north-east) area, Quebec.  The area covers 70 km2. A total of 49 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 1.4 km2 and analysed for:

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

  • Covers part of NTS 32D/3 (Rouyn). The northeast quarter of Dufay township is situated in Rouyn-Noranda county, Abitibi. It is bounded by latitudes 48°04'30" and 48°09'40" and longitudes 79°17'30" and 79°24'30".
