Survey Description


In 1971, a stream sediment sampling survey was conducted in the south-west part of La Pause township area, Quebec.  The area covers 70 km2. A total of 83 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 0.8 km2 and analysed for:

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

  • Covers NTS 32D/7 (Clericy). The La Pause township is located in Rouyn-Noranda county, Abitibi. It includes Lac La Pause, Lac Bellot and Lac Patris. It is bounded by latitudes 48°17'14" and 48°21'30" and longitudes 78°32'30" and 78°39'.
