Survey Description


In 1970, a stream sediment sampling survey was conducted in the Queylus and Haüy townships area, Quebec.  The area covers 73 km 2. A total of 92 samples were collected at intervals of 330 to 500 meters along the drainage system, at an average density of 1 sample per 0.8 km 2 and analysed for:

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

  • Covers part of NTS 32G/9 (Lac Boisvert), /10 (Lac à l'Eau Jaune). The northwest Queylus and northeast Haüy townships are located southwest of Lac Chibougamau; its center is 24 km from the town of Chibougamau. It is bounded by latitudes 49°41' and 49°44'30" and longitudes 74°21' and 74°34'.
