Survey Description


Between 1973 and 1974, a stream sediment sampling survey was conducted in the St-Modeste area, Quebec.  The area covers 400 km2.  A total of 218 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 1.8 km2 and analysed for:

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

  • Covers part of NTS 21N/14 (Saint-Modeste). The northeast Saint-Modeste region is situated in Rivière-du-Loup county, Bas Saint-Laurent area. It is bounded by latitudes 47°75' and 48° and longitudes 69° and 69°30'. It includes the villages of Saint-Paul-de-la-Croix, Saint-Jean-de-Dieu and Saint-Clément.
