Survey Description


Between 1971 and 1972, a stream sediment sampling survey was conducted in the Wakeham River area, Quebec.  The area covers 1400 km2. A total of 212 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 6.6 km2 and analysed for:

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

  • Covers NTS 35H/7 (Lac Vicenza), /10 (Lac Wakeham). The Rivière Wakeham region is situated in the Nord-du-Québec area. It is bounded by latitudes 61°15' and 61°45' and longitudes 72°30' and 73°. It includes Lac Vicenza.
