Survey Description


In 1970, a stream sediment sampling survey was conducted in the Lac Pythonga region, Quebec.  The area covers 1100 km2.  A total of 294 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 3.7 km2 and analysed for:

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

  • Covers part of NTS 31K/8 (Lac Pythonga). The Lac Pythonga region is located in the Pontiac county. It is bounded by latitudes 46°15' and 46°30' and longitudes 76° and 76°30'. It includes Lac David, Lac à la Tortue and Rivière de l'Aigle.
