Survey Description


In 1972, a stream sediment sampling survey was conducted in the Lac Boisvert region, Quebec.  The area covers 50 km2.  A total of 85 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 0.6 km2 and analysed for:

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

  • Covers part of NTS 31J/12 (Grand-Remous). The Lac Boisvert region is located in the Abitibi area. It is bounded by latitudes 49°38' and 49°41' and longitudes 74°14' and 74°22'.
