Survey Description

In 1974, a stream sediment sampling survey was conducted in the Montbeillard region, Quebec.  The area covers 70 km2.  A total of 74 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 0.9 km2 and analysed for:

The data are published in Open File DP-384, Department of Natural Resources, 1976.  This survey is part of a compilation DV 87-22, published in 1987.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

  • Covers part of NTS 32D/3 (Rouyn). The south-east part of Montbeillard county area is situated 31 km south of Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec. It includes Lac Provencher. It is bounded by latitudes 48o and 48o05' and longitudes 79o and 79o15'.
