In 1974, a stream sediment sampling survey was conducted in the Montbeillard region, Quebec. The area covers 70 km2. A total of 74 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 0.9 km2 and analysed for:

Covers part of NTS 32D/3 (Rouyn). The south-east part of Montbeillard county area is situated 31 km south of Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec. It includes Lac Provencher. It is bounded by latitudes 48o and 48o05' and longitudes 79o and 79o15'.
