Survey Description


In 1974, a stream sediment sampling survey was conducted in the Montbeillard region, Quebec.  The area covers 70 km2.  A total of 74 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 0.9 km2 and analysed for:

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

  • Covers part of NTS 32D/3 (Rouyn). The southeast part of Montbeillard county area is situated 31 km south of Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec. It includes Lac Provencher. It is bounded by latitudes 48° and 48°05' and longitudes 79° and 79°15'.
