Survey Description


In 1970, a stream sediment sampling survey was conducted in the Lac Mégiscane region, Quebec.  The area covers 1600 km2.  A total of 319 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 5.0 km2 and analysed for:

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

  • Covers NTS 32F/2 (Lac Quévillon). The Lac Mégiscane area is bounded by latitudes 48°30' and 48°55'30" and longitudes 75°30' and 76°. It includes Lac Mesplet, Lac Masères, Lac Cherrier, Lac Saint-Cyr and Lac Pascagama.
