Survey Description
In 1972, a stream sediment sampling survey was conducted in the Fort McKenzie, Chute aux Schistes and Moraine Lake areas, Quebec. The area covers 1600 km2. A total of 418 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 3.8 km2 and analysed for Cu, Zn, Pb, Co, Ni, Mn.
The data are published in preliminary report RP-608, Department of Natural Resources, 1975. This survey is also part of a compilation published in Geological Report RG-195 in 1979.

Covers NTS 24C/11 (east) (Chute aux Schistes), /14 (east) (Lac de la Moraine), /15 (Fort-Mackenzie). The Fort McKenzie, Chute aux Schistes and Lac de la Moraine areas are comprised within latitudes 56°45' and 57° and longitudes 68°30' and 69°15'. It includes Rivière Caniapiscau, Lac Canichico and Lac Colombet.
