Survey Description

In June 2006, a high-density lake sediment and water survey was carried out in the Nipigon-Beardmore area, northwestern Ontario.

Lake sediment and/or water samples were collected at 2136 sites over an area of 4400 km2, for an average density of 1 sample per 2 km2.

The data are published in Ontario Geological Survey Open File Report OFR6231 and Miscellaneous Release-Data, MRD243.

The data are also part of a compilation database, Lake Geochemistry of Ontario – 2019.
