Survey Description

In July 2002, a high-density lake sediment and water survey was carried out in the south Swayze area (Chapleau and Gogama map sheets), northeastern Ontario.

A total of 1051 lake sites were sampled over a 2714 km 2 area representing a sampling density of 1 sample per 2.6 km 2.

The data are published in Ontario Geological Survey Open File Report OFR6166 and Miscellaneous Release-Data, MRD150.

The data are also part of a compilation database, Lake Geochemistry of Ontario – 2019.
