Survey Description
In June and July 1999, a high-density lake sediment and water survey was carried out in the Mishibishu Lake area, northern Ontario at an average density of 1 sample per 1.4 km2.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

Covers all of NTS 42C/3 (Mishibishu Lake) and parts of 42C/4 (Pukaskwa River), 42C/6 (Pokei Lake), 41N/13 (Bonner Head) and 41N/14 (Dog Harbour) in the Mishibishu Lake area, northern Ontario. It is bounded to the east by 85°W longitude and to the south by Lake Superior. The centre of the study area is located approximately 40 km northwest of Wawa.
