Survey Description

In 1973, stream and spring sediments were collected in the Charlo-Blue Mountain area of northern New Brunswick.  The -80 mesh fraction of the samples was analysed by atomic absorption by the Mineral Resources Branch (New Brunswick) using a hot nitric acid digestion.  The Cu, Pb, Zn data are presented New Brunswick map plates MP 81-51a, b and c.

In 1986, samples weighing > 15g were analysed by Chemex Labs Ltd. using AAS.  The As, Sb, Ba, Au data for stream sediments are presented on New Brunswick map plate MP 87-48.
