Survey Description


In 1994, 187 till samples were collected in the Chedakuz Creek area in central British Columbia.  The samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 5 km2.  The data are published in British Columbia Geological Survey Open File 1997-11.

Quantities Analysed:

<0.063 mm fraction by ICP-AES after an aqua regia digestion for 23 elements and by INAA for 16 elements.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

  • Covers NTS 93F/7, the Chedakuz Creek map area, central British Columbia.  It lies within the Nechako Plateau, in the west-central part of the Interior Plateau.  Tatelkuz Lake lies in the south central part of the study area.
