Benoît North-West and East Property Project 1990-1992

Project Description

In 1990, drill holes were completed on Freewests’s North-West Benoit property, Abitibi East, northern Quebec.  The till samples were analysed for gold.

In 1992, Freewest obtained new claims in the northern part of Benoit Township and optioned a block of 34 claims belonging to Asarco Exploration Company of Canada to the west of their new claims.  Samples of rock, soil and till (from drill holes) were collected on the Asarco/Freewest Benoit East property.

The data are published in GM 51325 and GM 51405, reports submitted to the Government of Quebec.
