Survey Description
In autumn 1990, a drilling program was carried out on Freewest’s North-West Benoît property, Benoist Township, Abitibi East, northern Quebec. (Note: there is a discrepancy in the way the property and township are named).
Till samples from the drilling program were collected an analysed for gold by Chimitec Ltée.
The data are published in GM 51325, a report submitted to the Government of Quebec.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

Covers a small part of NTS 32F/08 (Lac Pusticamica) in Benoist Township, Abitibi East, northern Quebec. The centre of the study area is located approximately 7 km southeast of Lac Waswanipi and approximately 5 km northwest of Lac Pusticamica as well as 15 km southwest of the town of Desmaraisville. Highway 113 crosses the study area.
