Survey Description
414 samples of surface till were collected in 1995 in the Peterlong Lake-Radisson Lake area, northern Ontario. The data are published in Ontario Geological Survey Open File Reports 5941 and 5942.

Quantities Analysed:
<0.063 mm fraction by INAA for Au (OGS OF Report 5941). <0.063 mm fraction by INAA for 44 elements; by ICP-OES and ICP-AES after aqua regia; by CV-fluorescence for Hg (OGS OF Report 5942).

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

Covers NTS 42A/2 (Radisson Lake) and 42A/3 (Peterlong Lake) northern Ontario. It is situated along the southern edge of the Abitibi Subprovince, approximately 25 km south of Timmins and 50 km north of the hamlet of Shining Tree.
