NE Newfoundland Till Project, 2009-2012

Between 2009 and 2012, a till geochemistry and surficial mapping project was conducted in northeastern Newfoundland.

The objectives of the project are:

i) to further the understanding of the region’s Quaternary history as it relates to mineral exploration; and

ii) to identify suitable sampling media for further geochemical exploration.

Between 2009 and 2011, 1651 samples were collected. Fifty-five samples were collected in 2012:
