Investigation of Till Anomalies, 2010



Project Description

A number of unexplained anomalies are present within the till database of the Geoscience Atlas of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador.  This project seeks to investigate the bedrock source of four of these anomalies by further examination of existing data and the re-sampling of selected anomalous sites.

In 2010, bulk till samples were collected within the bounds of these four anomalies and the samples were collected as close as possible to the sites of the original samples:
