Bundle Description
A till sample survey was completed in the Serpentine Lake Area of New Brunswick. The Serpentine Lake map area is located in northwestern Northumberland and east central Victoria Counties which corresponds to NTS map sheet 21-O/2.
The till samples were analysed for 38 trace elements using instrumental neutron activation analysis (INAA) and x-ray fluorescence (XRF). The samples were irradiated using INAA on a 3 monitor reactor at McMaster University. XRF analysis of the samples was performed by laboratories at the Institut national de la recherche scientifique (INRS- Géoressources ) in Sainte-Foy, Quebec.
The geochemical results of this survey were reported by A. Doiron, Geological Survey of Canada, Quebec Office.
The data were published in Geological Survey of Canada Open File 2246.
