Survey Description

In 1988, a total of 228 A horizon soil samples (0-20 cm depth after the vegetation was removed) were collected using a square grid-based sampling with an analysis-of variance design.

The data are published in United States Geological Survey Open-File Report 90-310.

A subset of the samples (n=76 from North Dakota) were given to the Geological Survey of Canada for reanalysis, and these data are published in GSC Open File 5582.
