Survey Description
Between August 11th and 13th, 2003, Committee Bay Resources Ltd. sampled beach sands for diamond indicator minerals from the Arrowsmith River (NTS 56O) and Ellice Hills (NTS 56P) map areas. Their prospecting permits were located southwest of Committee Bay in the District of Keewatin in central Nunavut. During this two-day fieldwork program, a total of 12 reconnaissance beach sand samples were taken by way of helicopter supported observation to find suitable locales for sampling.
